Fil says about the project: "These are really special songs to me. I wanted to make a classic space-age pop album about love and youth, and that addictive verve and vibrant, passionate energy one has as a teenager and young adult. I think these songs are very pop and uplifting, but also with a sad, melancholic, slightly nostalgic edge to them."
